Boil water in the microwave or stove. Remove the water from heat and let cool for 1 minute. Dip the battery door of the unit in the water for 15 seconds. Remove from the water, and use a towel to remove the door.If this does not work, repeat the process. Do not place the unit in the water for
longer than 30 seconds and do not submerge the whole unit.
