Can someone tell me if you can mount the transducer on the port side instead of starboard side.

  We recommend the starboard side because it is the down stroke of most props- The downstroke produces much less aeriation than the upstroke side (port). That said if you absolutely have to mount on the port side just get as far away from the prop as possible- THX  Jacob
