- I glued the transducer in hull and all I get is "---" readings on my display.

- I bought HawkEye In-Dash Depth Finders for my house boat. I put them in the petroleum jelly and tried them there. When i first turn them on i get a reading for about 5 seconds then get --- and thats all.
- I have a newer D10D display with the plug, but my older transducer does not have a plug. Do you have a short length of transducer cable with the plug on it I can get, or should I just cut the plug off and splice the wires together?
